Kofisi opens media centre for content creators in Kenya

Africa’s workspace provider, KOFISI has opened a purpose-built specialist media centre in Nairobi, Kenya, boasting a broadcast and podcasting studio to cater for a growing number of content creators, media businesses and influencers in the city.

The new facility, KOFISI 9 located at 9 West building within the thriving Westlands suburb includes one of the largest, technology focused Conference Rooms available in the city, 2,000 sqft of open terrace space and a ‘Secret Garden’ located on the rooftop of 9 West building.

The new 25,000 sq ft Centre is the fifth furnished facility in Nairobi by KOFISI that complements its other investments in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Lagos (Nigeria) and Johannesburg in South Africa.

“The new Media Suite at KOFISI 9, with its Podcasting Room and Broadcasting Suite is set up to rent out by the hour or more and this dedicated space is soundproofed space to record podcasts, radio bulletins and tv interviews,” Michael Aldridge, KOFISI Africa’s CEO said.

“We have had numerous requests from influencers Jimmy Gathu, Makena Njeri, Murugi Munyi and Ivy Mugo as well as international and local TV broadcasters who want to send prospective interviewees to our studio to do live or recorded ‘Down the Lines’ where they will get a great quality soundbite – that’s fit for broadcast.”
