Spanish delivery app Glovo has launched a new service that cuts delivery time of small quantity products to customers.
The service dubbed, Q-Commerce delivers goods in between 20 and 40 minutes.
The firm has been delivering goods in more than one day for smaller products.
“Q-Commerce means that consumers can use Glovo to order from their favourite supermarkets and neighborhood stores,” the firm said.
“Consumers can now order from Glovo Market, which uses the latest in in-store digital technology and dedicated resources to ensure the quickest possible delivery times with customers receiving their orders in 20-40 minutes.”

MCFs will off provide beverage, fresh products and personal care products.
“Covid-19 impacted traditional brick-and-mortar retail. We believe that micro fulfillment centres represent an important part of the future of post-pandemic retail, and I think we will see a permanent shift to consumers buying groceries and other essential and convenience items from an app and website, rather than making such trips in person,” noted Oscar Pierre Glovo chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder.
“Glovo ensures the fastest delivery times in Kenya and the new micro-fulfilment centre will help bring new innovations to the sector.”
